About Us

Community Living Glengarry is a non-profit organization operated by a community Board of Directors and managed by an appointed Executive Director.  We provide residential and day services and supports for individuals with a developmentally disability residing in Glengarry counties.  The agency is primarily funded by the governement of Ontario, Ministry of Community & Social Services.

DESIGNATION

Community Living Glengarry was certified bilingual in December of 1996.  This process took approximately three (3) years.  Getting the designation involves translating all documents into French and English and having bilingual staff in key positions.  As a result, certain positions in residential and vocational services are designated.

BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Community Living Glengarry is governed by a Board of Directors.  This volunteer group consists of eight (8) community based individuals who have an active interest in the operations of Community Living Glengarry.  The Board of Directors' primary function is to oversee the Executive Director in the management of the organization.
