Members have the opportunity to improve the quality of life of those we support.
By becoming a member, you will take part in the Community Living movement. You will be able to vote on issues that relate to the care and support of people with intellectual disabilities. Your membership will show that you actively support the people we serve and their families. It is a way to help these individuals thrive and grow despite their vulnerabilities and other unforeseen life circumstances.
The larger our membership base is, the louder our voice becomes in our efforts to lobby the government for improved resources and community services. We strongly believe there is still a lot of work to be done!
Members of Community Living Glengarry have the opportunity to be informed and involved. Depending on their membership type, they have the right to vote at our Annual General Meeting, which influences the quality of life of the people we support.
